We've always had the goal to gather people together to create, learn, grow and most of all breathe! I think we accomplished that this fall at Soul Escapes. Creators came in singles or in groups, but always left with a new friend and a sense of accomplishment! Our month in review...
A few local artisans have their products for sale in our studio. You can also find my "Wood Spirit" art and hubby Kev's Industrial Art lights for sale as well. Here's a sneak peek:
Our little 1812 outbuilding went through quite the transformation these past few months. It's all freshly cleared, painted and wired for workshops and a small gift shop. Preservation of the original rock walls was paramount in our minds when transforming the space. Since the cooler weather has arrived, we are enjoying wood fires in the hearth daily. We've also added an outdoor seating area with a picnic table and edison lights for evenings. The firepit is also ready for events!
I'll be going to A Third Space tomorrow to pick up our finished pottery. I'm pretty excited, and a bit nervous. The potter was worried about some fragile pieces.
The October draw winner is Maureen O. Congratulations Maureen - the next event that you register for you can bring a friend for FREE!
